These terms and conditions may change without notice. All changes will apply to subsequent orders.

Shipping

Please note: for security reasons all first orders paid with by card can only be shipped to a billing address, and any orders via Paypal must go to the registered address on the account.

If an alternative address is entered when you place your first order, it will still go through but not be processed and we will need to contact you to take another method of payment before we can ship (other payment methods include bank transfer and cleared cheque).

To get your order to you as quickly as possible it will be automatically sent straight to our warehouse and immediately processed. Please be sure your all details on your order, including items, delivery and billing address and contact numbers are correct, as once your order is in the system, orders will have to be halted and retrieved to make any changes - this will subsequently incur a £10 fee.

Our mainland UK shipping promise is arrival within 5 working days of the order and payment being received. Any order outside mainland UK may take longer – please see our delivery information page for more. We will inform you at the top of the product page if anything is out of stock, and any up-to-date information about arrival dates will also be there.

Shipping costs can be found on most product pages, and the shopping cart will automatically work out how much you will be charged when you get to the end of your order, and our site can calculate a rough shipping cost for you before you place your order.

Some of our items come directly from the supplier, so charges for those items will be separate, however if you order more than one item from a supplier the shipping will be combined on those items.

We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties.

Product Information

The shade of our tents & awnings can vary very slightly from year to year / season to season, so all pictures of our tents are for illustrative purposes only.

Similarly, the colours of our tealight votives can vary from the pictures, and we cannot guarantee that the table colour that you request will be the one sent, however we do try our best to get you the one you’d like! If you do not specify a colour, they will be chosen at random. We also recommend that you check you have received all the elements of your purchase when it arrives, and familiarise yourself with any tent before you are standing in a field at the beginning of a 2 week camping holiday. If for some reason an element of your tent is missing, we can rush one to you, but that won't be much good if you're trying to sleep in it that night!!

We are now wrapping the peg and guy rope bag in the tent so it's less likely to go missing if the box gets damaged in transit - please make sure you have opened up your tent completely if you think you may be missing this part!

Warranty

All tents and canvas products come with insured shipping and a 12 month manufacturer's guarantee against manufacturing defects.

Please note: this guarantee covers manufacturing issues (such as bad stitching and water-proofing), it is not a blanket insurance policy against damage caused by wear and tear or adverse weather conditions, such as high wind. Poles bending in high winds are not a warranty issue and replacements can be purchased from us from £30 plus shipping. Please see our returns policy for more.

Professional and Long-Term Use

Even though some people put up our tents long-term, we sell Bell Tents as camping accommodation, not permanent structures.

Our 12 month manufacturer's warranty does not cover "professional use" after the first month. If a professional user buys a tent and reports a manufacturing problem within the first month we will look at it under warranty. After 28 days use it becomes a permanent structure and it therefore not being used for the purpose it was sold for (i.e. a tent for camping).

If a private individual buys and then erects one of our tents semi-permanently we will cover manufacturing defects for the length of the warranty but this does not cover mould as we have no control over the conditions the tent is left up in.

A Bell Tent is treated to be mould resistant, not mould proof as this is not possible. If the proofing has not been applied properly the tent will leak from its first use and there will be obvious patches of lighter material when the tent is wet.

If your tent is waterproof then this means it has also been proofed for mould resistance, and any mildew or mould that develops is not due to a mould-proofing issue.

Exclusions of Liability

We will not be liable for any loss of income, loss of profits, loss of markets, loss of reputation, loss of customers, loss of use, loss of an opportunity even if we had knowledge that such damages or loss might arise or for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages or loss howsoever arising including without limitation breach of contract, negligence, wilful act or default.

We are not liable if we do not fulfil any obligations towards you at all as a result of: circumstances beyond our control such as (but not limited to): Acts of god including earthquakes, cyclones, storms, flooding, fire, disease, fog, snow or frost; force majeure including (but not limited to) war, accidents, acts of public enemies, strikes, embargoes, perils of the air, local disputes or civil commotions; national or local disruptions in air or ground transportation networks and mechanical problems to modes of transport or machinery; latent defects or inherent vice in the contents of the shipment; criminal acts of third parties such as theft and arson.
