Our 3m ultimate bell tent features a zip-in bath tub ground sheet Ventilation feature - walls rolled up and held by toggles Our 3m Bell Tents feature a tripod pole system

Our best-selling 3m Bell Tent features a heavy-duty groundsheet with the added bonus of a hidden zip all the way around the tent. Unzip, and you can roll part or all of the walls up to let the breeze blow through on lazy summer days, or zip it up to create a “bath-tub” type effect sealing the groundsheet and canvas against the weather.

The Ultimate design, offering the best of both worlds

You get the security of the “bath-tub” style, heavy-duty groundsheet and the versatility of being able to unzip and roll the walls up like a Standard Bell Tent. When the sun is out, unzip the groundsheet, roll the sides up and let the breeze blow through.

Tripod pole system opens up the whole internal space

Our unique three-legged pole system opens up the whole internal space allowing space to fit a queen-size mattress! Or add an Optional Centre Pole for those times when you want to travel extra light. With the centre pole option, it will comfortably fit two single mattresses.

Optional centre-pole when you want to travel light

Buy an optional centre pole and have the option of leaving the tripod system at home. This set-up reduces the tent’s total weight by 6.5kgs and takes several minutes off pitching time. Perfect for festivals and getting out in the great outdoors, this tent will comfortably fit one or two full-size single mattresses on either side of the pole.

Great tent

The tent is great, but I contacted three company with a simple question which hasn't been answered in the two weeks since submitting it which is disappointing.

Hello Nick
Glad you love the tent and sorry for the delayed reply but I've been on annual leave after the manic season. Emailing you now.

Easy erect and pack away

I purchased this tent in between lockdowns once camping was allowed again but was worried about having to put it up myself as am in my 60s. It has been quite easy putting it up. It can be a bit heavy but I manage. Its very good for weekend trips as I just pack it into the back of the car and go.

Small but perfectly formed.

Great little tent for one or two people.
We were the last thing standing in Cornish campsite and the grounsdheet "bath" protected us from the runnig water.
Might get the optional centre pole for when I go alone.

Excellent tent, very comfortable, can be pitched quite quickly single handed with a little practice

Excellent tent, very comfortable, can be pitched quite quickly single handed with a little practice. Worth buying a carpet too. I also use a heavy 2700 gsm gauge tarp under the groundsheet to protect it (much cheaper than a groundsheet protector)

Having clear space rather than centre pole makes the tent space much more versatile and usable, even if the tripod poles can creak a bit when it is windy (candle wax on joints helps).

These are more difficult to erect single handed that a single pole unless you do what I do, which is to use and extending pole (window cleaning pole or whatever) as a temporary centre pole to support the tripod crown while I slot in first the front two legs of tripod (with one side unzipped part from ground sheet) and then the back. Doing that makes it very easy.
