Congratulations Jayce Robinson!

Congratulations to our Brand Ambassador, Jayce Robinson, for his victory at Boardmasters' Animal Open Men's Final! We are so thrilled that he has done so well in the UK's biggest surf competition.

Boardmasters Festival is an annual event in Cornwall consisting of surfing, BMX and skateboarding competitions as well as live music. The festival was founded in 1981 through the surfing competition, then expanded to include music acts in 2005. 2019's event was cancelled due to bad weather and 2020's because of the COVID-19 Pandemic, so we can only imagine how excited festival-goers were to return to Boardmasters this year! 2021's headliners included artists such as Foals, Gorillaz, The Kooks, Jorja Smith, Jamie xx and more. 

Jayce Robinson won the men's final with a total score of 15.67, achieving 8.50 for one of his manoeuvres -- the highest score of the competition! This took him from fourth to first place in the last half of the 30-minute heat. An elated Jayce said afterwards "this event is so prestigious and so long-running and definitely the biggest event in the UK. To win it at 32 years old...I've been trying my whole life."
