Our Groundsheet Protector Footprint has been redesigned to give a neater, more practical fit underneath your 6x4m Emperor Tent. The slightly smaller size means it no longer juts out around the edge of the tent, helping it look tidier and reducing the chance of rainwater running down the canvas and being trapped between the tent groundsheet and the protector.
It also makes pitching easier, as you no longer need to worry about lining up protector eyelets with the bottom of the tent. Simply lay it out, put some of the included pegs is to stop it blowing away and pitch your tent on top.
The groundsheet protector provides an extra protective layer that helps keep your Bell Tent’s groundsheet cleaner and drier, which can extend the life of your tent. It really comes into its own when your pitch is wet and muddy, and it’s much easier to clean the protector when you get home than the whole tent.
This extra layer helps avoid direct contact with the ground, keeping the base of the tent cleaner while also offering a little extra insulation from the cold floor in cooler weather. Overall, a groundsheet protector is a wise investment for any Bell Tent owner.
Easy to install
The protector is designed to sit neatly underneath the footprint of your Bell Tent. To install, choose your pitch and lay out the protector with the long side, where the door will be, facing your desired direction.
The new improved size means our Groundsheet Protector Footprint can also be used as a like-for-like replacement groundsheet for our original Emperor Standard Bell Tents with separate groundsheets.
This makes it a useful option if your original Standard Emperor Tent groundsheet has become worn, damaged or difficult to replace. Simply use it in place of the original separate groundsheet and pitch as normal.
