Having tested loads of products over the years, this is a favourite here at BellTent UK - a really effective all-in-one cleaning and waterproofing solution for all types of canvas and outdoor fabrics like garden chairs, umbrellas, gazebos and awnings.

Fabsil has been a first choice cleaning and waterproofing solution for professional and outdoor enthusiasts for over 40 years, caring for and protecting tent canvas, gazebos, awnings and all outdoor fabrics whatever the weather.

Please note that this pack comes with a 1 litre tin of re-proofer, which is good for around 7m2 of medium weight cotton canvas. A 5m bell tent’s roof has around 20m2 without getting involved with the walls, so you’ll need additional re-proofer for tents above 4m. The good thing about this kit is that the cleaner is entirely compatible with the Fabsil Reproofer, so you won’t get any bonding issues, and it’s great if you only want to treat part of your tent.

Good product

Got this after noticing rain water coming through into our 5year old bell tent, whilst away recently. The 1L protector was enough to treat about 1/4 of the 3M canvas bell tent. Had to buy another 2.5L to finish the job. Feels great to put away the tent properly cleaned and waterproofed, ready for more camping next summer.

Good quality but not quite right

Very good value for money and arrived within good time. I imagine the product will work well for a lighter cleaning job, however this particular cleaner is ineffective for heavier stains and mould. The 1L proofing agent works well, but for a 4m canvas tent I would advise at least 2L for full coverage.

Hi Beth and thanks for your review. The kit is designed for localised cleaning and reproffing not the whole tent. We do sell the 2.5 litre Fabsil on it's own and that will proof a 5m Bell Tent.
