We created the much-copied Ultimate Bell Tent in 2009, and it remains our best-selling style. Customers loved the Deluxe but missed the unique selling point of a Bell Tent, which is rolling the walls up. So, we developed the Ultimate with a zipped-in, heavy-duty groundsheet - a flexible tent offering you the best of both worlds!
Versatile heavy-duty zipped-in groundsheet
A robust zip circumnavigates the whole tent 10cm off the ground to create a "bath-tub" effect for extra assurance against flooding. This heavy-duty zip secures the groundsheet to the canvas and is hidden from the elements by a canvas flap. Keep it zipped for all the security of an integrated, heavy-duty groundsheet or unzip, roll up part or all of the walls and let the breeze blow through on lazy summer days.

Our 4-metre Bell Tents have ample space for a young family of four with all of their kit. A 250cm centre pole allows good headroom and a lovely airy space, featuring an integrated D-ring fitting for accessories. Perfect for attaching one of our Tea Light Chandeliers, creating an amazingly warm, twinkly light on the shortbread-coloured canvas.

I bought this tent 10 years ago now and it's still in fantastic condition!
It is my pride and joy; I take to a few music festivals and several camping trips each year. It's so easy to set up, even by yourself. It's always a show piece at music festivals and has enough space to house a soggy group of friends if the rain gets particularly bad, or even if everyone's too sunburnt.
I prefer the bell tent over polyester tents as it stays cooler and the added bonus of being able to unzip the base is so useful on really hot days.
I have a plan to install a stove at some point to extend our camping season, but I haven't gotten over the idea of having to cut into it yet.
Obviously canvas tents need maintenance but I've only had to reproof it twice and I've just upgraded to glow in the dark guy lines. Here's hoping I get another 10+ years out of it.
Additionally I just contacted belltent.co.uk as a few of my A frame springs have snapped now and they're sending them to me free of charge.

Just back from a trip to France in this beauty. Admiring looks from the rest of the campsite, huge internal space made our stay luxurious, so easy to pitch…we had to move pitches during our stay which I wasn’t looking forward to but it was a breeze with this tent. I can’t wait for our next trip! There was a slight issue with one of the poles when it arrived which was remedied within days as our trip was imminent…outstanding customer service…highly recommend this tent and this small company.
Bought this for my garden and kids love it, great for having guests too. All my friends and family want one now.
As a family of four I have to say there is an amazing amount of space inside the tent, it
easily coped with our mountains of kit and caboodle. The mesh widows very handy for
keeping bugs out. A great sturdy tent and excellent quality!
I bought my bell tent from Belltent.co.uk way back in 2010 and it's still going strong 12 years later which tells you something about the quality. I absolutely love it - so easy to pitch and such a beauty. I fitted a flashing kit for a stove and have used it through all seasons. The groundsheet is thick and robust, far better than any groundsheet I've come across in any other tent. Lots of great memories now associated with this tent.
