Elevate your camping setup with the expansive and robust 4.5 kW Wide Boy Stove.
This model is not just a functional heater; it's a style statement for your tent, marrying practicality with the enchantment of watching an open fire. Designed with both portability and resilience in mind, the Wide Boy stands ready to contend with the elements, offering exceptional heating capabilities.
Substantial and Efficient.
The most powerful stove in our range, the Wide Boy is a roomy 41.5cm wide and is deceptively powerful, boasting a significant 4.5 kW max output. If you plan to run it at full power, we recommend you place something underneath it to protect your groundsheet from the heat. A piece of wood or slate in conjunction with a heat mat is the best way to do this.
Ideal for those seeking a more comprehensive heating solution, this stove assures you'll stay warm even on the chilliest nights.
Wide but still transportable.
Even with its substantial dimensions the Wide Boy packs down well for transport with its foldable legs and flue sections that fit inside the firebox
Durable build and enhanced heat distribution.
Crafted with the same commitment to safety and durability, the Wide-boy comes with cold-pressed steel flue pipes that provide a dependable heat dispersion system, minimising hot spots unlike the thin stainless steel flues offered by others.
The Wide-boy’s generous width means you're afforded an extensive cooking area, suitable for preparing a variety of dishes simultaneously and perfect for those hearty meals that define a camping trip.
Direct flame exposure.
A sizeable hot plate cover gives you the option for direct flame contact, allowing for precision cooking and efficient heat transfer (ensure the lid is on the opening or use a pan over it when inside to prevent fumes from escaping into your tent).
Large glass door.
A feature that truly sets the Wide Boy apart is its large glass door, inviting you to bask in the glow of your fire as it crackles within. This visual delight not only adds ambience but also lets you keep a watchful eye on the roaring flames.
With the 4.5 kW Wide Boy Stove, your camping adventures are about to get a whole lot cosier, more inviting, and visually stunning. Prepare to transform your tent into a warm and welcoming haven, complete with the mesmerising beauty of a blazing hearth.

Safety Guide:
- All our stoves are designed to be used outside or in a non-sealed structure like a tent.
- They are not designed for sealed environments like buildings or vehicles.
- Always use a CO2 alarm and have a means of putting a fire out ready to hand.
- It's essential to operate this stove with a proper flashing kit where the flue exits the tent through the roof.
- This “Flashing” needs to be correctly fitted within the structure and be not too close to the top of the stove to let some of the heat dissipate before it reaches it.
- Do not leave your burning stove unattended and ensure it's fully extinguished before sleeping.
- Moreover, position the stove on a surface that's fire-retardant to mitigate potential risks. Consider one of our heat mats or, better still, a mat on top of a piece of wood or slate to protect the ground sheet of your tent.
Attention: We are not liable for any damage stemming from improper use of the stove. Customers bear full responsibility for the stove's safe operation and correct installation.
Disclaimer:
Please note: While we stand by the high quality and craftsmanship of our stoves, we must emphasise the importance of responsible usage. We strongly advise utilising our stove in conjunction with fire-retardant canvas tents, tipis, or yurts and always in conjunction with a compatible flashing kit when integrating into a canvas shelter. It is paramount for customers to verify that the shelter in use is equipped with adequate fire-retardant properties.
Always use a vulcanised rubber flashing where the flue pipe goes through the canvas. Make sure you have a means of putting a fire out and get yourself a portable CO2 alarm.
All our camping stoves are designed for use in well-ventilated tents and structures. THEY ARE NOT DESIGNED TO BE USED INSIDE BUILDINGS OR OTHER SEALED SPACES!!
The main reason for this is some of our range have removable hot plate covers so you can get the heat directly onto the bottom of your pan. These hot plate covers let some fumes out even when closed and therefore should not be used in a sealed space.
Make sure you use a stove glove or tool when removing it, and put the pan straight over the hole to stop smoke and fumes from filling your tent. Replace directly after removing the pan and only leave it off if you are using the stove outside. Safety should always be a top priority. Never leave the stove burning unattended and ensure that it is completely extinguished before retiring for the night. Make sure it has fully cooled down before attempting to dismantle and pack the stove away.
Additionally, always position the stove on a fireproof surface to guard against stray sparks potentially damaging the groundsheet. This could be one of our heat mats or even a piece of plywood or slate. We bear no liability for any loss or damage that may arise from the stove’s use, regardless of the circumstances. In ordering any of our products you are agreeing to the terms and conditions listed above.
