Introduce warmth, practicality and a touch of proper campfire atmosphere to your tent with our upgraded Camping with Stoves 3.5kW Stove Version 2.0.

Compact, portable and powerful enough to help extend your camping season, this stove is designed for use in bell tents, tipis, glamping set-ups and other suitable outdoor canvas structures. It packs down neatly for transport, gives you a controllable enclosed heat source, and adds that lovely flickering glow that makes colder-weather camping feel far more civilised.

This latest version includes several useful upgrades: an improved front door seal, a safer one-piece stove top, and adjustable leg extenders so you can raise and level the stove on uneven ground.

Functionality meets convenience

When it’s time to pack up, the flue sections tuck away inside the stove body and the legs fold underneath, helping to keep storage and transport space to a minimum. If you want to keep the rest of your kit, and your car, a bit less “campfire chic”, the optional carry bag is well worth considering.

Powerful and compact

Don’t let the compact size fool you. This stove delivers 3.5kW of heating power, making it a great choice for warming your tent and cooking on top. You also have the option of adding our matching flue kettle, which makes clever use of heat as it travels up the flue.

Improved front door seal

The upgraded door now has stove rope around three sides, creating a better seal and helping to make the stove safer and less leaky in use. There is no stove rope along the top edge, allowing the stove to continue drawing correctly while still improving the seal where it matters most.

Safer one-piece stove top

We have removed the removable hot plate disc from the top of the stove. While removable plates can be useful for direct cooking outdoors, we felt they were not ideal for typical tent use as they can allow fumes to escape if not fully covered. The new one-piece stove top is simpler, safer and better suited to use inside a suitable canvas tent when installed correctly.

Adjustable leg extenders included

This upgraded stove now comes with four adjustable leg extenders. Without the extenders fitted, the stove stands approximately 38cm high. With the extenders fitted on their lowest setting, the height increases to approximately 49cm, and they can be adjusted up to approximately 54cm.

This gives you extra flexibility when setting up your stove and also allows you to self-level it when camping on a slight slope or uneven ground. Because, annoyingly, campsites are rarely as flat as they looked when you were confidently pitching in daylight.

Cold-pressed steel flue

All Camping with Stoves burners come with cold-pressed steel flue pipes rather than thin, shiny stainless steel pipes. These heavier-duty pipes are much stronger and dissipate heat more evenly, helping to avoid hot spots that could damage your rubber flashing or canvas.

Two removable side racks

The stove comes with two removable steel side racks, giving you extra usable space for cooking. They are ideal for moving pans off the direct heat to simmer, keeping food warm, or giving yourself a bit more working space around the stove top. Great for drying wood before burning or drying other things. (Never leave unattended with things on the racks!)

Spark arrestor

The stove includes a spark arrestor within the flue to help reduce the risk of escaping sparks reaching your canvas. Always burn properly dried fuel, as a spark arrestor can only do so much. If damp wood is sending unburnt sparks all the way up the flue, the wood is the problem, not the spark arrestor.

Small flashing kit included

A small flashing kit worth £35 is included, so you have the essential part needed to fit the flue safely through your tent canvas. Just use scissors and an adjustable spanner to fit in 15 mins.

You will still need to install the flashing kit correctly before using the stove inside a tent. We also recommend firing the stove outside first and gradually bringing it up to full temperature before using it inside your tent. This first burn helps cure the stove paint and reduces the initial paint fumes.

Glass window and adjustable vent

The glass window lets you enjoy the glow of the flames and check the state of your fire without opening the door. The adjustable vent gives you control over airflow, helping you manage the burn more easily.

Optional carry bag

Our optional carry bag keeps the stove, flue sections and accessories together, while helping to keep ash and dirt in one place during transport.

Optional flue kettle

The slim 60mm flue allows you to attach our flue kettle, giving you hot water at your fingertips while making use of heat that would otherwise be heading straight up the chimney. The kettle can be rotated to control how much heat it receives and to free up space for pans. It also releases with one clip and includes a carry handle and brass tap.

Please note: You may need additional flue sections depending on your tent and where you position the stove. The total height of this stove with the supplied flue pipe installed is approximately 280cm. The type of tent, size of tent and stove position will determine the length of flue pipe needed for the chimney to safely exit the roof. Additional flue sections are available separately. Please read our Stove Safety Guide before purchasing and before use.

Safety notes

All our stoves are designed to be used outside or in suitable non-sealed structures such as canvas tents. They are not designed for sealed environments, buildings or vehicles. Always use a carbon monoxide alarm, always install the stove with a suitable flashing kit, and always keep a suitable fire extinguisher close to hand. Never leave a burning stove unattended and make sure it is fully extinguished before sleeping.

Our stoves are covered by a twelve-month manufacturer’s warranty. For more detailed information, please see the stove warranty section of our website.
